4,029. Blemishes of the Ears and Eyebrows

Hilchos Bias HaMikdash 8:3

There are four blemishes of the ears: (1) extremely small ears; (2) ears that are swollen like sponges; (3) ears that hang down low; (4) ears that look different from one another.

Hilchos Bias HaMikdash 8:4

There are five blemishes of the eyebrows: (1) no hair at all on the eyebrows – this is the gibein of Leviticus 21:20; (2) eyebrows that hang low; (3) having only one eyebrow; (4) having more than two eyebrows; (5) having eyebrows that appear different from one another, either in length or color. As long as their appearances are different, it’s a disqualification.
