180:9 If a person hands his promissory notes over to a beis din saying, "Collect these for me," these debts are not canceled by the sabbatical year.

180:10 If one person sells an object to another on credit, that's the same as lending money and it's canceled by the sabbatical year. However, if a shopkeeper sells to his customers on credit and he doesn't collect until the bill reaches a certain amount, then such a debt is not canceled. If he treats them as a loan, meaning that he added them all up and wrote a total in his ledger, then it's considered like a loan and  it is canceled.
