1,058. Two Men or Two Women
152:3 One woman may be alone with two reputable men but only in the city and during the day. In the fields or at night - even in a city - she would need three reputable men. If they are disreputable, she should never be alone with them, not even if there is a group of them, unless their wives are also present. One man may not be alone with two women. If there are three or more, some authorities permit it provided that his profession is not with items designed especially for women. Other authorities prohibit this altogether.
152:4 If a woman's husband is in town, one may be alone with her since her husband may return at any time.
