1,059. A House Open to the Public Way

152:5 If a house opens onto a public thoroughfare, there is no prohibition against being alone during the day and in the evening so long as people are passing by in the street. If the woman is accustomed to this man, such as if she grew up with him or was related to him, or if her husband warned her not to be alone with him, then she may not be alone with him even if her husband is in town and even in a house that opens onto a public thoroughfare.

152:6 A man may be alone with a girl under the age of three, and a woman may be alone with a boy under the age of nine.
