3,313. Feeding Terumah to One's Guests
Terumos 10:10
If someone feeds terumah to his workmen or to guests, they must repay the value and add a fifth because they acted unwittingly. He must then pay them the value of their meals (rather than repaying what they ate). This is to their benefit because regular produce is worth more than terumah since one is distanced from prohibited foods.
Terumos 10:11
Let’s say that a non-kohein feeds terumah to his minor children or to his servants, regardless of whether they’re adults or children. In such a case, he must repay the value but he need not add the extra fifth. The same is true of one who eats terumah from outside of Israel, eats or drinks less than the volume of an olive, a nazir who unwittingly drank terumah wine, one who drinks oil and one who anoints with wine.
