2,252. Behavior in Public
Hilchos Issurei Biah 21:16
A man may not enter a bathhouse with his father, his sister’s husband or his student, though if he requires the student’s assistance, then it is permitted. In some places, the accepted practice is that two brothers don’t enter a bathhouse together.
Hilchos Issurei Biah 21:17
Jewish women may not walk in the marketplace with uncovered hair, whether they are married or unmarried (i.e., divorced or widowed). Similarly, a woman may not walk in the street with her son walking behind her; this is out of concern that her son might be abducted, causing her to go after him and she’ll be sexually assaulted by sinful people who took the boy as a ruse.
