MB3 180a: Climbing a Tree on Shabbos (336:1-2)

Using a tree (including climbing, leaning, and using it to store items) still attached to the ground is a prohibited מדרבנן since you may come to pull something off the tree. What if the tree is dried out?

If you did climb the tree are you allowed to come down?

It is prohibited to place items on a tree on Erev Shabbos.
