4,140. The Second and Third Kohanim

Continuing how a sheep burnt offering was carried:

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 6:12

The second kohein carries the two forelegs. He carries the right foreleg in his right arm and the left foreleg in his left arm, with the side where the skin was facing out.

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 6:13

The third kohein carries the tail and the (left) hindleg. He holds the tail in his right hand with the fat tail hanging between his fingers; the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys are with it. The left hindleg is in his left arm with the side where the skin was facing out.
