Negaim 4:1

Some laws of white hair do not apply to spreading and some laws of spreading do not apply to white hair. White hair causes ritual impurity at the outset, it causes impurity regardless of its shade of whiteness and it is never a sign of purity. Spreading causes impurity however small it may be, it causes impurity in every category of nega and it causes impurity when outside the nega, none of which is the case with white hair.

Some laws of healthy flesh do not apply to spreading and some laws of spreading do not apply to healthy flesh. Healthy flesh causes impurity at the outset, it causes impurity regardless of its color and is never a sign of purity. Spreading causes impurity however small it may be, it causes impurity in every category of nega and it causes impurity when outside the nega, none of which is the case with healthy flesh.
