Erchin 3:3-4

Erchin (Arachin) 3:3

An ox with a history of goring that kills a servant can have both lenient and stringent ramifications as follows: whether it killed the handsomest servant or the ugliest, the owner of the ox pays 30 sela as his fine; if the ox killed a free person, he pays that person’s individual value. If the ox wounded someone, whether a servant or free person, the owner pays full damages.

Erchin (Arachin) 3:4

A rapist and a seducer can have both lenient and stringent ramifications as follows: whether one violated or seduced someone from the most prominent priestly family or the lowest family in Israel, he pays a fine of 50 sela. When it comes to the additional fines for causing shame and damage, it all depends on who the offender is and who the injured party is.
