2,955. Worth His Weight in Gold
Hilchos Arachin Vacharamin 2:5
If sommone commits his weight or the weight of another person, he pays the weight. If he specified his weight in silver, he pays in silver; if he specified his weight in gold, he pays his weight in gold. If commits the weight of his arm or of his leg, we calculate its weight and that’s what he must pay. For the purposes of this halacha, the length of the arm is until the elbow, and the length of the leg is until the knee. This is because when it comes to vows, we act according to expressions as used by the common people.
Hilchos Arachin Vacharamin 2:6
If someone commits his height in silver or gold, he must pay a rod his height of the metal specified that won't bend. If he committed the fullness of his height, then he may pay a rod of the metal specified that will bend.
