2,940. A Nazir Who Was Definitely Both a Metzora and Ritually Unclean

Hilchos Nezirus 10:12

Similar to the case in the previous halacha, let’s say that our nazir was definitely both unclean and a metzora. After being purified from tzaraas, he shaves the first shaving for tzaraas, has the purification waters sprinkled on him on the third and seventh days, and shaves his head and beard on the seventh day; this is the second shaving for tzaraas. He brings his offerings on the eighth day, after which he can eat sacrificial foods. He counts another seven days and shaves for his ritual impurity. After this, he observes his nezirus in full. He brings his purity offerings, after which he can drink wine.

Hilchos Nezirus 10:13

The reason he must count seven days is because the seven days of corpse impurity aren’t counted during the seven days between a metzora’s two shavings.
