2,918. A Nazir Who Shaved Poorly
Hilchos Nezirus 8:7
Let’s say that a nazir shaved, but he left two hairs (so he didn’t fulfill the mitzvah). His hair grew back and he shaved those two hairs, or he shaved one and the other fell out. In such a case, he has fulfilled the mitzvah to shave. If one fell out and he shaved the other, he has not fulfilled the mitzvah.
Hilchos Nezirus 8:8
If a nazir shaved when his peace offering was brought and the offering turned out to be invalid, his shaving is also invalid and his other offerings don’t count. Let’s say that the nazir shaved when his sin offering was brought but it was found that it was slaughtered without the intention to be a sin offering. Later, he brought his peace offering and burnt offering, and offered them properly. In this case, too, his shaving is invalid and his offerings don’t count.
