2,890. Taste Alone
Hilchos Nezirus 5:7
If a mixture had the taste of wine but it didn’t contain a reviis of wine in half a loaf, it is prohibited under rabbinic law, as was discussed in Hilchos Maachalos Assuros. If a nazir eats it, he is given stripes for acting rebelliously.
Hilchos Nezirus 5:8
If a nazir eats an olive-sized portion of grapes, of seeds, of skins and of raisins, and he drinks an olive-sized portion of wine, even from squeezing the juice from a cluster of grapes, he incurs five sets of lashes. This is because each of these things is a separate prohibition. He also incurs a sixth set of lashes for violating the prohibition against desecrating one’s word, the same as with all vows. Similarly, if a nazir ate an olive-sized portion of skins or of grapes, he is lashed twice - once for the skins or the grapes, and a second time for desecrating his word. This also applies to a nazir who shaves or who renders himself unclean. In all of these cases he is lashed once for violating that prohibition and a second time for desecrating his word.
