Yisro - Shlishi

(כד) וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע מֹשֶׁ֖ה לְק֣וֹל חֹתְנ֑וֹ וַיַּ֕עַשׂ כֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמָֽר׃ (כה) וַיִּבְחַ֨ר מֹשֶׁ֤ה אַנְשֵׁי־חַ֙יִל֙ מִכׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּתֵּ֥ן אֹתָ֛ם רָאשִׁ֖ים עַל־הָעָ֑ם שָׂרֵ֤י אֲלָפִים֙ שָׂרֵ֣י מֵא֔וֹת שָׂרֵ֥י חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים וְשָׂרֵ֥י עֲשָׂרֹֽת׃ (כו) וְשָׁפְט֥וּ אֶת־הָעָ֖ם בְּכׇל־עֵ֑ת אֶת־הַדָּבָ֤ר הַקָּשֶׁה֙ יְבִיא֣וּן אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה וְכׇל־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַקָּטֹ֖ן יִשְׁפּוּט֥וּ הֵֽם׃ (כז) וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶת־חֹתְנ֑וֹ וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ ל֖וֹ אֶל־אַרְצֽוֹ׃ {פ}

(כד) וְקַבִּיל משֶׁה לְמֵימְרָא דַחֲמוּהִי וַעֲבַד כֹּל דִי אֲמָר: (כה) וּבְחַר משֶׁה גֻבְרִין דְחֵילָא מִכָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמַנִי יָתְהוֹן רֵישִׁין עַל עַמָא רַבָּנֵי אַלְפִין רַבָּנֵי מָאוָתָא רַבָּנֵי חַמְשִׁין וְרַבָּנֵי עִשׂוֹרְיָתָא: (כו) וְדַיְנִין יָת עַמָא בְּכָל עִדָן יָת פִּתְגַם קָשֵׁי מַיְתִין לְוָת משֶׁה וְכָל פִּתְגַם זְעֵיר דָיְנִין אִנוּן: (כז) וְשַׁלַח משֶׁה יָת חֲמוּהִי וַאֲזַל לֵהּ לְאַרְעֵהּ:

24. Moshe accepted his father-in-law’s word and did all that he said. 25. Moshe chose able men from all Israel and appointed them heads over the people – leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties and leaders of tens. 26. They judged the people at all times; the great matter they brought to Moshe and every small matter they judged. 27. Moshe sent off his father-in-law; he went himself to his land.
