2,255. Walking Behind Women
Hilchos Issurei Biah 21:22
If a man encounters a woman in the street, he is not permitted to walk behind her. Rather, he should pick up his pace so that she is alongside or behind him. One who walks behind a woman in the marketplace is lightheaded and common. When passing the entrance to a place of promiscuity, one must distance himself four cubits (about six feet) as per Proverbs 5:8, “Do not draw near to the door of her house.”
Hilchos Issurei Biah 21:23
An unmarried man may not handle his testes so as not to be led to impure thoughts; he shouldn’t even reach below his navel. When relieving his bladder, he shouldn’t hold his male member but if he’s married, then it’s permitted. Whether he’s married or not, he should only handle his male organ in order to relieve himself.
