2,056. Bleeding on Three Consecutive Occasions
Hilchos Issurei Biah 4:21
If a woman bled during intimacy three (consecutive) times without any other cause to which it might be attributed, the couple must divorce, though the woman may marry someone else. If she married someone else and bled during intimacy three times, they must divorce but she may marry a third man. If she marries a third man and bled during intimacy three times, they must divorce and she may no longer marry until her condition is resolved.
Hilchos Issurei Biah 4:22
A woman checks to see if such a condition has been resolved as follows: she takes a lead tube whose edge is folded over inside it and inserts the tube vaginally as far as it will go. She put a shaft with a soft cloth on top into the tube and pushes until the cloth reaches the opening of the uterus. She removes the cloth and, if blood is found on it, we assume that the blood found during intimacy comes from her uterus. If there’s no blood on the cloth, we assume that the blood found during intimacy comes from pressure on the sides of the vaginal canal. The is ritually clean and she may marry someone else as was discussed in the laws of marriage.
