334. Checking for Insects, Asking Shailos
46:45 The Torah warns us in many places regarding insects; eating them constitutes a violation of several mitzvos. It also taints a person spiritually as Leviticus 11:43 tells us, “you will be made unclean by them.” Therefore, a person must be very careful not to eat forbidden insects. 46:46 If someone asks an authority to rule in some matter and he is told that the thing in question is forbidden, he may not turn around and ask the same question of yet another authority unless he informs the second that the first has already ruled it forbidden.
