The Ethics of Voting
The Midrash says that when Hashem appointed Betzalel to build the Mishkan He first asked Moshe and Bnei Yisrael if they approved. From this we derive that a person can't be appointed as a leader without the consent of the people. What role does the Torah give Bnei Yisrael in choosing their leader?
