4,153. More About Blood That Spilled on a Garment
Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:3
If a sin offering has been invalidated, its blood need not be laundered. This is so regardless of whether it was once valid or if it was never valid. An offering that was once valid means one that was left overnight, that was rendered ritually unclean, or that was brought outside of the courtyard. An offering that was never valid means one that was disqualified because of the way it was slaughtered or the way its blood was sprinkled.
Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:4
Only the spot where the blood spilled must be laundered. This is the case so long as the garment or other item is susceptible to ritual uncleanliness and is suitable for laundering. If blood spills on a wooden or metal utensil, it need not be laundered because these things are suitable for laundering. In such cases, one simply scrapes off the blood.
