Talmud Torah 2:4
An unmarried man should not teach young children because of the mothers who bring their children to school; a woman should not teach young children because of the fathers.
Talmud Torah 2:5
There should be a ratio of no more than 25 students to one teacher. If there are between 25 and 40 students, an assistant should be hired to help the teacher. If there are more than 40 students, two teachers should be hired.
