4,050. The Blemishes Unique to Animals

Hilchos Issurei Mizbeiach 2:1

There are fifty blemishes that disqualify both humans (i.e., kohanim from serving) and animals (for use as offerings). They have already been enumerated, in Hilchos Bias HaMikdash.

Hilchos Issurei Mizbeiach 2:2

There are an additional 23 blemishes that only apply to animals, to wit: (1) an eye that’s round like those of a person; (2) one eye large like that of a calf and one eye small like that of a duck. It’s not a blemish if one ear is large and the other is small, even if it’s as small as a bean; (3) a growth with a hair in the white of the eye; (4) if the cartilage between the nostrils has been punctured in a place where it’s visible; (5) a mouth like that of a pig in that the upper jaw extends over the lower jaw. This is a blemish even if it’s not pointed like a spit.

The list continues in the next halacha.
