3,954. Deriving Benefit From Bigdei Kehuna

Hilchos Klei HaMikdash 8:11

One is allowed to derive benefit from the kohanic garments. Therefore, the kohanim wear them on the days when they perform the Temple service even when they’re not actively performing the service. The exception is the sash; since it contains shaatnez (an otherwise prohibited mixture of wool and linen), it may only be worn while performing the service.

Hilchos Klei HaMikdash 8:12

A regular kohein may only wear his uniform during the service. The kohanim may only wear wool and linen for the service.
