3,860. The Courtyard (Azarah)

Hilchos Beis HaBechirah 5:4

Further inside, past the cheil, was the Courtyard. The Courtyard was 187 cubits long by 135 cubits wide (about 280’ x 200’) and had seven gates. Three of these were on the north, near the west, three were on the south, also near the west, and one was in the east. The gate in the east was in the middle, opposite the Holy of Holies.

Hilchos Beis HaBechirah 5:5

Each gate was ten cubits wide by 20 cubits tall (about 15’ x 30’) and they all had gold-plated doors except for the eastern gate; this one was coated with bronze that looked like gold. This gate was called both the Upper Gate and the Nicanor Gate.
