Hilchos Shemittah v’Yoveil 12:16

Similar to the situation in the previous halacha, in the future, when we enter the land for the third time, we will resume counting shemittah and yoveil, sanctifying houses in walled cities, and bringing tithes in every place that’s conquered. This is derived from Deuteronomy 30:5: “Hashem your God will bring you to the land that your ancestors inherited and you will inherit it.” We see that the Jews’ possession of the land in the future is the same as that of their ancestors. Just as the ancestors practiced all these things when they took possession of the land, the same will be the case when we take possession of it in the future.

Hilchos Shemittah v’Yoveil 13:1

The tribe of Levi didn’t receive ancestral land in Israel, so the other Tribes were commanded to give them cities to live in and the surrounding real estate. The cities given the Leviim include the six cities of refuge and forty-two other cities. When cities of refuge are added in the Messianic era, they will also be given to the tribe of Levi.
