There are three kinds of leather block: those of barbers are susceptible to midras impurity, those on which people eat are susceptible to corpse impurity and those used for spreading olives are insusceptible to all types of impurity.

There are three kinds of pedestal: the kind placed in front of a bed or in front of a scribe is susceptible to midras impurity, the kind placed under a sideboard is susceptible to corpse impurity and the kind placed under a cupboard is insusceptible to all types of impurity.
