3,684. Two Men, One of Whose Wives Never Gave Birth Before

In the case in the preceding halacha, if the women gave birth to two girls and a boy, or to two girls and two boys, the kohein has no claim.

Let’s say that there are two women married to two different men; one of them has given birth before and the other hasn’t. They both gave birth and the babies got mixed up. If they each gave birth to a boy, the husband of the woman who never gave birth before must give five sela to a kohein. If they gave birth to a boy and a girl, the kohein gets nothing.
