1,112. Reciting the Bracha
162:8 After the woman has immersed properly, while she is still standing in the water, she recites the bracha that G-d has commanded us regarding immersion. Before reciting the bracha, she should cover herself below with something, at the very least, wrapping her arms around her body as a separation. She should not look into the water while saying the bracha. If she immersed in a place where she can cloud the water by stirring it up with her foot, it's good to do so before reciting the bracha. Some have the practice to immerse again after saying the bracha; this is a good practice. They should just make sure that the second immersion is also done properly.
162:9 After immersing properly in a mikvah, the woman can go to a bath house or a steam room to warm herself up. Some authorities do not permit her to return home and wash in a bath and this is our accepted position. One should be lenient if she wants a hot shower to warm herself up, except in a place where the practice is not to permit this either.
