One may not derive benefit from a nest on a consecrated tree but it is not subject to misappropriation. Regarding things on an asheira tree (i.e., one worshipped as an idol), one may knock them off with a stick. If a person consecrates a whole forest of trees, it is subject to misappropriation. If the Temple treasurers bought trees, the lumber is subject to misappropriation but the chips and the foliage are not.

Meilah 4:1

Things consecrated for the altar can combine to form minimum volumes and are subject to piggul, nosar and ritual impurity. Things consecrated for Temple upkeep can combine to form minimum volumes. Things consecrated for the altar can combine with things consecrated for Temple upkeep vis-à-vis misappropriation.
