1,086. A Divorced Couple Remarrying

157:4 If a man remarries his ex-wife, she must still count seven days. This is true even if he divorced her while she was pregnant and remarried her while she was still pregnant, or if he divorced her while she was nursing and remarried her while she is still nursing. If he didn't wait and married her before she counted these days, they are permitted to be alone together since they have already had relations.
