153:10 When a woman is a niddah, her husband may not look at any part of her body that is normally kept covered. He may look at normally-uncovered places even if he derives enjoyment from this. He may not smell her perfume or listen to her sing.

153:11 It is appropriate, when they are alone together, for the wife to wear special clothes so that both of them are reminded that she is a niddah. The Sages grudgingly permitted her to wear make-up and colorful clothes when she is a niddah so that she won't be unattractive to her husband.
