1,027. Suspected Adulterers

145:17 If a person was suspected of having an affair with a particular married woman, whose husband divorced her or died, the woman is not permitted to marry the one suspected of being her lover. Just as adultery renders a woman forbidden to her husband, it likewise renders her forbidden to the adulterer. Even if her husband divorced her over rumors he heard regarding her and this other man, nevertheless the other man is not permitted to marry her.

145:18 If one is suspected of having sexual relations with a non-Jewish woman and she converts, he is not permitted to marry her.
