2,967. Seizing Property From a Craftsman

If the person with the debt has garments of silk and gold, these are confiscated and he’s given garments that are appropriate for him for weekdays, but not for Shabbos or yom tov.

If the person with the debt is a craftsman, they leave him two of every tool he uses in his craft. For example, a carpenter is left two planes and two saws. If he has many of tool A but only a few of tool B, they don’t sell many of tool A and buy some of tool B. Rather, they leave him two of tool A and all of tool B.
