(יח) וְיָצָ֗א אֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִפְנֵֽי־יְהֹוָ֖ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֑יו וְלָקַ֞ח מִדַּ֤ם הַפָּר֙ וּמִדַּ֣ם הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְנָתַ֛ן עַל־קַרְנ֥וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃ (יט) וְהִזָּ֨ה עָלָ֧יו מִן־הַדָּ֛ם בְּאֶצְבָּע֖וֹ שֶׁ֣בַע פְּעָמִ֑ים וְטִהֲר֣וֹ וְקִדְּשׁ֔וֹ מִטֻּמְאֹ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (כ) וְכִלָּה֙ מִכַּפֵּ֣ר אֶת־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְאֶת־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וְאֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְהִקְרִ֖יב אֶת־הַשָּׂעִ֥יר הֶחָֽי׃ (כא) וְסָמַ֨ךְ אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת־שְׁתֵּ֣י יָדָ֗ו עַ֣ל רֹ֣אשׁ הַשָּׂעִיר֮ הַחַי֒ וְהִתְוַדָּ֣ה עָלָ֗יו אֶת־כׇּל־עֲוֺנֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־כׇּל־פִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם לְכׇל־חַטֹּאתָ֑ם וְנָתַ֤ן אֹתָם֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְשִׁלַּ֛ח בְּיַד־אִ֥ישׁ עִתִּ֖י הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃ (כב) וְנָשָׂ֨א הַשָּׂעִ֥יר עָלָ֛יו אֶת־כׇּל־עֲוֺנֹתָ֖ם אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ גְּזֵרָ֑ה וְשִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־הַשָּׂעִ֖יר בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ (כג) וּבָ֤א אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֣י הַבָּ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָבַ֖שׁ בְּבֹא֣וֹ אֶל־הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְהִנִּיחָ֖ם שָֽׁם׃ (כד) וְרָחַ֨ץ אֶת־בְּשָׂר֤וֹ בַמַּ֙יִם֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָד֔וֹשׁ וְלָבַ֖שׁ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֑יו וְיָצָ֗א וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֶת־עֹֽלָתוֹ֙ וְאֶת־עֹלַ֣ת הָעָ֔ם וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֥ד הָעָֽם׃
(יח) וְיִפּוֹק לְמַדְבְּחָא דִּי קֳדָם יְיָ וִיכַפֵּר עֲלוֹהִי וְיִסַּב מִדְּמָא דְתוֹרָא וּמִדְּמָא דִצְפִירָא וְיִתֵּן עַל קַרְנַת מַדְבְּחָא סְחוֹר סְחוֹר: (יט) וְיַדֵּי עֲלוֹהִי מִן דְּמָא בְּאֶצְבְּעֵיהּ שְׁבַע זִמְנִין וִידַכִּנֵּיהּ וִיקַדְּשִׁנֵּיהּ מִסּוֹאֲבַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: (כ) וִישֵׁצֵי מִלְּכַפָּרָא עַל קוּדְשָׁא וְעַל מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וְעַל מַדְבְּחָא וִיקָרֵב יָת צְפִירָא חַיָּא: (כא) וְיִסְמוֹךְ אַהֲרֹן יָת תַּרְתֵּין יְדוֹהִי עַל רֵישׁ צְפִירָא חַיָּא וְיִוַדֵּי עֲלוֹהִי יָת כָּל עֲוָיַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיָת כָּל מֶרְדֵּיהוֹן לְכָל חֲטָאֵיהוֹן וְיִתֵּן יָתְהוֹן עַל רֵישׁ צְפִירָא וִישַׁלַּח בְּיַד גְּבַר דִּזְמִין לִמְהַךְ לְמַדְבְּרָא: (כב) וְיִטּוֹל צְפִירָא עֲלוֹהִי יָת כָּל חוֹבֵיהוֹן לְאַרְעָא דְלָא יָתְבָא וִישַׁלַּח יָת צְפִירָא בְּמַדְבְּרָא: (כג) וְיֵיעוֹל אַהֲרֹן לְמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וְיַשְׁלַח יָת לְבוּשֵׁי בוּצָא דִּי לְבַשׁ בְּמֵעֲלֵיהּ לְקוּדְשָׁא וְיַצְנְעִנּוּן תַּמָּן: (כד) וְיַסְחֵי יָת בִּסְרֵיהּ בְּמַיָּא בַּאֲתַר קַדִּישׁ וְיִלְבַּשׁ יָת לְבוּשׁוֹהִי וְיִפּוֹק וְיַעְבֵּד יָת עֲלָתֵיהּ וְיָת עֲלַת עַמָּא וִיכַפַּר עֲלוֹהִי וְעַל עַמָּא:
18. He shall exit to the altar that is before Hashem and atone for it;[1] he shall take from the blood of the bull and from the blood of the goat and put (it) on the horns of the altar all around. 19. He shall sprinkle on it from the blood with his finger seven times, and he shall purify it and sanctify it from the impurity of the children of Israel. 20. When he has finished atoning for the Holy, for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar, he shall bring the live goat near. 21. Aharon shall lay his two hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the transgressions of the children of Israel and all their iniquities, for all their sins, and he shall put them on the head of the goat. It shall be sent by the hand of a man who was designated[2] to the wilderness.
22. The goat shall carry on it all their transgressions to an unsettled land,[3] and the goat shall be sent in the wilderness. 23. Aharon shall come to the Tent of Meeting, remove the linen garments that he put on when he came to the Holy, and store them there.[4] 24. He shall bathe his flesh in water in a holy place and put on his garments. He shall exit and make his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and he shall atone for himself and for the people.
