Terumos 8:6

If figs, grapes, cucumbers, gourds, melons or cantaloupes have been chewed on, if they contain moisture, they are prohibited. This is true even if there is as much as a kikar (a talent, a measure of weight, perhaps 66 lbs.), whether the fruit is large or small, and whether they are still attached or harvested. An animal that was bitten by a snake may not be eaten because the venom could poison the animal’s meat.

Terumos 8:7

A wine strainer on top of a vessel is prohibited because the wine in the vessel is left uncovered, though Rabbi Nechemiah permits it.
