Abby Lorkis is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She made aliyah after spending a year learning in Israel at Midreshet Harova. She received her BA in social work from Bar-Ilan University and continued to deepen her Torah studies at the Bar-Ilan Midrasha. Abby is currently the assistant director of Mizrachi OU-JLIC at Bar-Ilan, connecting with students and helping them foster a vibrant community as olim in Israel.
